FAQ

  • At New Castle Dental, we prioritize individualized care for each patient and focus on finding the root cause of the problem, rather than just providing a temporary solution. While we understand that insurance can be a helpful resource for many patients, our commitment to personalized care means that we do not operate as an in-network provider for any dental insurance plans.

Instead, we are a fee-for-service office, which allows us to provide customized treatment plans that are tailored to your specific needs and desired outcomes. In the past, our team has spent an extraordinary amount of time and resources fighting to ensure that we are fairly compensated for the services we provide, even when insurance companies try to limit coverage.

While we do not accept assignment of insurance benefits as payment for treatment, we are happy to help you navigate the process of submitting claims to your insurance company for reimbursement. Our team will provide you with all necessary documentation and submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy to our patients. We believe that you deserve access to the best possible care, and we are committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits and achieve optimal oral health.

  • We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

  • A comprehensive exam includes a close look at the gingiva (gums) and will determine what type of cleaning you need. If your gums are in a state of disease, a simple cleaning will not be appropriate for you and will not be the best use of your time and money. We prefer to give you all of the information you need about your health in order for you to make informed decisions about your treatment.

  • We will take the necessary panoramic or CBCT x-rays of your wisdom teeth and send them over to our oral surgeon colleagues for completion.

  • Yes. This multi-step process can be completed start to finish in our office. Dr. Roper will be able to discuss the process with you, as well as discuss things you can do to ensure the best outcome with the implant.
